The Sony HD Radio is Sony's first HD clock radio with a dock that supports iPod and iPhone. It supports up to 40 present radio stations (20FM and 20AM), more than double the amount supports by the Sony ICF-C1iP, which only supports up to 15. Since it is an "HD" radio it has crystal clear and static free radio reception. The speakers also provides clear bass and treble as well as surround sound functions.

Sony XDR-S10HDiP Description
Similar to the ICF-C1iP, the HD Radio has a large and bright backlit LCD display which allows you to adjust its brightness, contrast and display mode. Its FM multicasting option provides option to receive multiple program streams over a single FM frequency. Unlike satellite radio, there is no monthly fees for HD Radio.
THe HD Radio also provides a built-in clock with sleep and wake functions to your choice of buzzer, radio or from your iPod and iPhone.
